Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management

Promoting innovation through education and networking of smart minds

Our guiding principle: Linking research, teaching and practice

  • Without intensive contact with practitioners, we ask the wrong questions in research and we make the wrong requirements in teaching.
  • Without research at highest level, we are not in a position to provide valid answers to practical questions and to teach students up-to-date, permanently valid insights and thinking structures
  • Research and practice need qualified students. Without excellent teaching, we cannot carry out first-class research and we cannot reasonably cooperate with practice.

Our goals

  • In teaching: teaching clear structures of thought, raising curiosity and the willingness to take responsibility and explore new ways.
  • In research: The highest scientific level for the solution of practice-oriented questions.
  • In collaboration with practice: Creating long-term values for our partners.

Our approach

  • We work problem-oriented, methodically sound, in an international environment and maintain an open and cooperative atmosphere.
  • We integrate students into research and practical projects.
  • We call for clear positions - from ourselves, from our students and from our partners.
